PHISHING?

Anti-Phishing Phil

"Phishing" is a fraudulent or criminal attempt to acquire information such as your username, password, and credit card details. The phishing email or website typically masquerades as a business or website that you have already visited and one that you trust. eBay, PayPal and your own bank are commonly victims of this counterfeiting.
The Carnegie Mellon University Usable Privacy and Security Laboratory (CUPS) brings together CMU researchers to understand and improve the usability of privacy and security software and systems. They have developed Anti-Phishing Phil, an interactive game that teaches users how to identify phishing.
A preview version of Anti-Phishing Phil is available online now. If you play the game several times you can be more comfortable not getting snookered.
